The Somerset County Conservancy is going to have a work day, Tuesday, June 18,2024, at 4:00, meeting at the Menser Addition parking area. We are planning on working on a trail extension on our Bear Claw Trail which we started last year. We have marked out a continuation that will lead from the small stream crossing to the far NW corner of the Roadside field. Gloves, rakes, loppers, and perhaps an extra weed whipper would be helpful but we have tools. We will have pizza around 6:00 to celebrate our accomplishment! We may not get done that day, but there is always another day!
As an added enticement, you may even get a chance to learn why we call it the “Bear Claw” trail.
